The Iron Horse Mini Train will open for the 2026 season on April 4, 2026 with the Easter Special Event. Come ride the 15-inch scale railroad for FREE in cars pulled by a real diesel locomotive. An Easter Egg Hunt, sponsored by the First Methodist Church of Mineola, begins at 10:00 am.
The Easter Bunny will be present for pictures.
Refreshments - donuts and juice will be available after the Easter egg hunt sponsored by New Hope Baptist Church.
Mini train rides begin at 11:00 and run until 3:00.
Regular runs for the train are on the first and third Saturday of each month, April through September with special runs and times for holidays and events!
Train is available for rental on days train is not running (see schedule) at a cost of $100 per hour. Check out all the news for Iron Horse Square at www.ironhorsesquare.org (link is external).
