Learn how to throw miniature forms, glaze them, and Raku fire them using a microwave in this 3-week class with Heatherly Day. You'll work on making your pieces in the first 2 sessions, and fire them with the guidance of the instructor in the final session. Open to ages 16 & up. The cost is $100 for non-members, $80 for members, and includes all materials and firings. Meets Mondays, 6:30-8:30 pm, starting November 3.Note: the final class session will take place outdoors, and a lot of standing is required. The Raku kiln and fired pottery can get quite hot. For safety, we recommend closed-toed shoes and no synthetic clothing during the final class session.
