Mini Movies Filmmaking Club

Take a Deep Dive into the Fabulously Fun world of FILMMAKING. The Mini Movies Film Club is a hands-on experience focused on creativity and teamwork. You will help to create a short film, from concept through to final screening. Working together as part of a team we will create a MOVIE OUT OF THIN AIR. (and some hard work of course)

In this Five Week Course we will reveal many FILMMAKING SECRETS which you can use at home to create your own movies.

WEEK ONE - Saturday 28th February (2pm - 4pm)
Our first week we will be all about writing a story and creating the characters for our film. We will explore Story Creation Tools, Film Scripts and Storyboards.

WEEK TWO - Saturday 7th March (2pm - 4pm)
Next we will plan our Sets, Props and Costumes. Everyone will be assigned a Filmmaking Role and we will rehearse for the filming.

WEEK THREE - Saturday 14th March (2pm - 4pm)
Filming takes place here as we work together in our various roles to record our story to camera.

WEEK FOUR - Saturday 21st March (2pm - 4pm)
Week four is where we edit all of the separate shots together into movie. We will also be creating sound, music and special effects magic.

WEEK FIVE - Saturday 28th March (2pm - 4pm)
In the final week our film will come to life. We will also use animation techniques to create our title and end credit sequence.

All participants will get a screen credit as well as a copy of the completed movie to keep and to show their friends.

The Mini Movies Filmmaking Club takes place in our custom build film studio and has been created by Andy and Sharon Brooks, who between them have over 30 years of filmmaking experience.
