3 Day Mini Horsemanship Ranch Adventure – Suits Ridden Horses, no matter what Equine Discipline rider is involved with (not suitable for green horses).If you are interested in advancing your horsemanship but also looking for an adventurous getaway with some like-minded people passionate about horses – then our Ranch Horsemanship Adventure is for you!!!
Mini Horsemanship Ranch Adventure Format: This clinic is based on our special week long Horsemanship Ranch Adventure that combines 3 clinics (Horsemanship, Cattleworking/Stockmanship and On The Trail Horsemanship Clinics). Our goal is to provide unique, educational experiences to advance people in the adventure of practical horsemanship.
Day 1: Will be in the arena working on groundwork to make sure everyone’s communication with their horse is working before mounting up and riding with foundational horsemanship.
Day 2: Load up and drive 40mins to a cattle arena to dive into some low Stress Stockmanship, which is a great way to improve your Horsemanship. Later we will be out of the arena and onto the trail, working with your horse on a variety of practical, real life situations using horsemanship principles and foundational communication. We will be addressing common situations people face while on the trail riding out and working as a group to help individual horses and riders navigate problems with feel, respect, trust and encouragement.
Day 3: The ultimate day – we are loading up and heading out 15mins onto a large ranch and helping with their Fall Gather! This day will help give purpose to the communication, advanced horse movement, strengthens the working partnership between horse & rider in a fun environment with a job to do.
