The Mini Champs Family Fest 2026, scheduled for Saturday, 21st February 2026 at OYDC–Zambia Sports Development Centre, is a vibrant, family-centered athletics festival designed to inspire participation, talent development, and community involvement. The event will bring together 400 children aged 4–16 years, along with over 200 parents and teachers, making it one of Zambia’s notable gatherings for youth sport and physical activity.The morning will feature age-appropriate Kids’ Road Races aligned with World Athletics Kids’ Athletics standards, followed by a variety of track and field activities promoting fun, teamwork, and inclusivity. Exceptional young athletes will be considered for enrollment into the Kids’ Athletics Chikondi Sports Academy 2026 and given opportunities to participate in structured competitions under the Lusaka Province Athletics Area Board and Zambia Athletics.
This festival offers families a meaningful platform to celebrate health, talent, and togetherness while supporting the next generation of athletes.
