Underground exploration, bringing mining, discovery, and night‑time creatures into the curious Snailbeach landscape.
Guided by bat specialists from the Rea Valley Community Wildlife Group, you’ll explore the historic lead‑mine site after dark, using bat detectors . We’ll also take part in a short underground visit led by qualified Shropshire Mines Trust leaders (covered by their own underground safety procedures).
What to bring
Warm layers, sturdy footwear, a torch if you have one, and a sense of curiosity.
