Want to learn more about Cornwall’s mining heritage and the
objects it produced?

In this session, you will explore the people and the places which
made mining one of Cornwall’s main trades, and learn about
the minerals, myths and material culture produced in the
region.

Celebrating the 20th anniversary in 2026 of Cornwall
UNESCO’s mining status, Lore & Piece will be working with Geevor Tin Mine Museum; a place close to our hearts.
In this session, you will meet a real-life bal-maiden, design your
own mine/object magent, and/or create a miner/bal-maiden magnet - all taking place in the historic setting of Kresen Kernow!
