This special event invites you into the world behind Mindgasm and the completion of a year-long creative journey I'm thrilled to share with you all.

7:30 pm – Doors open
Arrive, enjoy free flowing sparkling and desserts.
7:30–8:30 pm – Live music by Sasha Millar, plus a photo wall
8:40 pm – Welcome
Hosted by Rachel Gilmore from MAFS 2026, followed by a short talk from Julia on the story behind Mindgasm and the journey of bringing it into the world.
9:00 pm – Let's Play
An interactive experience with the game itself. Get deep by asking better questions.
About Mindgasm
Earlier this year, I found myself trying to build a genuine connection with the person I was matched with on the Married at First Sight experiment. I knew that if we were ever going to connect mentally, emotionally, spiritually and physically, it would start with one thing: good conversation.
That experience revealed something bigger. We're living in a culture that encourages us to impress each other before we truly understand each other when dating. We spend so much time perfecting first impressions, and so little time learning how to ask the kinds of questions that build trust, vulnerability and real connection.
So I made the game I wish I'd had in my back pocket.
Mindgasm is a permission slip to move past small talk and into conversations that are playful, unexpected and meaningful. It's an invitation to slow down, get curious, and discover one another through honest conversation, because the best connections aren't built on having the right answers, but on asking better questions.
About Julia
I'm a television journalist, entertainment correspondent and confidence coach who's spent the last decade helping people communicate with more authenticity.
Over the years I've interviewed some of the world's biggest actors, musicians and sporting stars, but the conversations that have shaped me most haven't happened in front of the cameras. They've happened in quieter moments, when people felt safe enough to let their guard down and just be themselves.
Mindgasm is the culmination of all of that.
Creating this game has been one of the most rewarding things I've ever done. It's asked me to revisit difficult moments, turn them into something meaningful, and build what I hope becomes a permission slip for people to relate to each other a little differently.
This evening is about more than launching a game, it's about celebrating creativity, resilience, and the courage to turn a hard chapter into something that brings people together.
