About this Event
This workshop is designed to be practical, approachable, and grounded in real life. You will learn tools you can actually use in social situations, at work, and in everyday conversations.
You’ll be guided through a mix of social and emotional skills led by Christina, focused on understanding social anxiety, improving communication, and learning how to stay present without shutting down or overthinking. Alongside this, yoga and mindfulness teacher Alesia will lead simple breathwork and meditation practices designed specifically for social settings—techniques you can use before, during, and after conversations to regulate anxiety and stay grounded.
Expect a supportive, low-pressure environment with gentle discussion, guided practices, and time to reflect. There will be no forced participation and no expectation to share personal details unless you want to. This workshop is about building self-trust, learning how to tolerate discomfort without harm, and practicing presence in a way that feels sustainable.
You’ll leave with a clearer understanding of your nervous system, practical tools for managing social anxiety, and a new way of thinking about connection—one that doesn’t require numbing, performing, or becoming someone else.
We will round the evening out with a sound healing and mocktails.

Welcome & Grounding (10 min)
Brief welcome, overview, and a gentle grounding exercise to help everyone settle in.
Understanding Social Anxiety & Presence (20 min)
Exploring why social anxiety happens, the difference between harm and discomfort, and how attention impacts connection.
Mindfulness & Breathwork for Social Situations (20 min)
Guided breathwork and mindfulness practices led by Elisa, focused on regulating anxiety in real-time social settings.
Practical Social & Communication Skills (25 min)
Tools for staying present in conversations, asking better questions, and reducing self-monitoring without performing.
Integration & Reflection (10 min)
Time to reflect, ask questions, and identify one or two tools to take into everyday life.
Closing & Next Steps (5 min)
Final grounding practice and resources for continued practice.
