Mindfulness Meditation with Lotus Valley Sangha

This is a mindfulness meditation community that meets weekly to practice in the Plum Village tradition following the teachings of Thich Nhat Hanh. We welcome people at all levels of practice, from newcomers to decades-long practitioners. All elements of the gathering will be guided.

**No Tickets or reservations required**

Beginning in March 2024, we will be meeting on Sundays from 12:30pm-2:00pm. Please arrive 10 minutes early to ensure we start on time and bring a cushion, chair or whatever you would like to sit on. We will be meeting at the Lohan School of Shaolin Kung Fu at 4255 Spring Mountain Rd, Las Vegas, NV 89102 (upstairs in the plaza).

Our gatherings are always free and donations (dana) are accepted if it is within your practice.

GENERAL SCHEDULE

All activities are explained and guided with flexibility and care for individual needs.

1. Sitting Meditation (20 minutes)

2. Walking meditation or deep relaxation (10-15 minutes)

3. Reading / Teachings (20 minutes) (Reading from a book or talk by Thich Nhat Hanh/Plum Village Monastics, Recitation of Mindfulness Trainings, or Dharma talk)

4. Dharma Sharing (20- 30 minutes)
