This is a four week course: Thursdays 09/10/25 - 16/10/25; 23/10/25 & 30/10/25, 19:00 - 21:00 at the Hoole Community Centre. Chester.
Awareness is intrinsic to all human experience and it can be systematically cultivated with minimal effort. It is enjoyable and anyone can do it.
Over the four weeks will explore how to gradually recognise, deepen and cultivate the innate qualities of mind that can lead to greater freedom from suffering and stress. Each week will build on the previous week to develop the simple skills that enable us to change our relationship to experience in a gentle and loving way.
This discovery of successive levels of relaxation and ease leads on to deeper levels of awareness, confidence, kindness, joy and inherent simple wisdom. The confidence that gradually arises from discovering these qualities of mind, that are always present if you notice, leads naturally to greater fulfilment, meaning and contentment. At the same time we are able to access stability and resilience in the face of challenges and difficulty, so that we respond rather than react.
Anyone can meditate and it's really easy when you see how.
This is an invitation to learn the basic skills to navigate and master the storms of your mind and come into a more satisfying and rewarding relationship with your everyday experience.
