About this Event
For people who wish to deepen their mindfulness practices and are interested to help others benefit from mindfulness by leading mindfulness practices.
9 - 11 Nov @ Village Hotel Changi, 1, Netheravon Road, S 508502.
First 3-day is for you to learn the brain science and mindfulness practices that you will need to reduce your personal stress level.
12 - 13 Nov @ Brahm Centre Tampines, 148 Tampines St 43, #01-94, S 520473.
Teach-backs will be the main focus during these two days to enable you to practice teaching what you have learnt in the first 3 days.
Prerequisites:
- You have completed either the Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy Course or Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Course.
AND
- You have attended a 3-day or 5-day mindfulness retreat conducted by Brahm Centre.
Course Fee:
- NSA Senior: $154 per person.
Maximum Skillsfuture Credit claimable is $154.
Singaporeans and Permanent Residents aged 50 and above enjoy National Silver Academy (NSA) subsidy for course fee.
- Individual Course Fee: $770 per person.
Maximum Skillsfuture Credit claimable is $770.
Option to add room for 4 night stay (Only 5 rooms are available):
Fee of $740/room for up to 2 persons, no meals are included.

Brahm Centre is able to hold this course at a hotel venue with the help of a MOH grant.
Course fee (exclude room option) may be offset by SkillsFuture Credit (SFC).
Payment Procedure:
- Upon registration, course participants are to make payment for the course through Brahm Centre’s Eventbrite page.
- If you choose to use your SkillsFuture Credit (SFC) for this course, this payment will be considered your deposit to reserve a place.
- Participants have to claim with SFC before the course start date through the SkillsFuture portal, https://www.myskillsfuture.gov.sg/content/portal/en/index.html
- Brahm Centre will reimburse the amount that is successfully claimed upon receipt of the funds from SFC. This procedure can take up to 12 weeks from the course end date.
Notes:
• Please note that payments for courses are non-refundable.
• There are no make-up lessons if you miss any session.
• If you miss the first session, you are allowed to proceed with the course. However, the trainer is not obligated to do a recap during the second session.
• Brahm Centre reserves the right to replace a trainer, should the trainer be unable to conduct the class due to unforeseen circumstances.
RETREAT LEADERS
Dr Christopher Willard is a clinical psychologist, author, and consultant based in Massachusetts. He has taught in over thirty countries and has presented at two TEDx events. He is an author of twenty books, including Alphabreaths (2019), Growing Up Mindful (2016), and How We Grow Through What We Go Through (2022).
His thoughts on mental health have been featured in The New York Times, The Washington Post, mindful.org, cnn.com, and elsewhere. He also teaches at the Harvard Medical School.
Adj. A/Prof Angie Chew is the Founder and CEO of Brahm Centre, a mental health charity with over 50 staff, dedicated to promoting happier and healthier living. In recognition of her contributions in the mental health space, she was named “The Straits Times Singaporean of the Year 2019”.
She is the first certified Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction teacher in Singapore conferred by the Mindfulness Center at Brown University School of Public Health. She is also a certified Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy Course teacher Oxford Mindfulness Foundation.
Angie is also an Adjunct Associate Professor of Mindfulness at the National University of Singapore. She has conducted mindfulness-based workshops and courses on self-care, resilience, performance and grief management to corporates, healthcare institutions, schools, ministries, statutory boards and social service agencies.
