About this workshop
This august we are bringing together collage and bookbinding into one workshop! During this two hours workshop you will be invited to experiment with paper stocks and shapes to create your own unique mini soft cover accordion books. The bookbinding technique you will learn can be use as a basis for card-making, artists bookmaking and zine making. All materials will be provided, you will learn collage and compositions techniques , and you will leave feeling relaxed, with your unique mini books.
Who is this for?
This event is for anyone ages 16+ interested in exploring collage, art and nature in a relaxing and welcoming environment. This workshop is suitable for all levels, no previous experience and skills are necessary. Please note under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult.
What is the After Hours Creative Club?
Monthly workshops hosted by Concrete Nature on Wednesday evenings and Sundays Between Glasgow and Edinburgh to nurture your creativity off-screen and connect with fellow creatives.
Materials
All materials will be provided, however we recommend you bring a tote bag or shopping bag big enough to fit A4 size artworks to keep your artwork safe when you leave the workshop and make your way home.
Location & Nearest subway station
There is on street parking around the venue, and and NCP car park on King Street. There is a bike storage inside the venue. The closest subway station is St Enoch and the closest train station is Argyle Street.
About the venue
The workshop will be taking place in Meeting Room 2. The venue is fully accessible.
Cancellation policy
Tickets will only be refundable up to 7 days prior to the event taking place. Tickets are non-exchangeable. Please note Eventbrite’s fees are non-refundable. If you can no longer attend the event after the deadline for refund, please let us know via email us at [email protected] so your ticket can be re-allocated to someone on our waiting list.
