I will be running two mindful nature walks in the beautiful South Downs National Park on Saturday July 11th and Saturday 15th August. 9.30am until 4pm. Early bird only £25. Full price £35. The day will start and end at Glynde Reading Rooms, in the picturesque village of Glynde. It will include two meditations, periods of silent walking, time for journaling and reflection, and information about local history and flora and fauna. This will be a chance to replenish and restore flow and fascination, (drawing on The Attention Restoration Theory), and to calm and focus the mind through connection with nature, with landscape and the contemplative practices of meditation and journaling. There will be a lock box for mobiles phones at the venue and participants are encouraged to experience the full benefits of a digital detox.
Tea, coffee and delicious cake will be available at the end of the walk but please bring a packed lunch and water.
Trains run hourly to and from Glynde, to and from: Lewes, Brighton and Eastbourne, and London via Lewes or Brighton.
9.30am until 4pm. Early bird only £25. Full price £35.
The walk will be between 3 and 4 hours and will include some hills. Leave a message here if you're interested or would like to know more!
You can find more information about me on my Kin page, but in the meantime, I am a fully certified meditation practitioner and creativity tutor (creative writing & nature journaling). I have walked and explored the local landscape for years and am a knowledgable nature and history guide.
