Mindful Mornings in the Garden

Welcome to the Come to the Garden Workshop!

Join us at The Retreat at Oatlands Historic House & Gardens for a morning workshop of guided exploration in nature. Learn how to quiet the mind, engage the senses and bring curiosity to the natural world. Through these practices we affirm our connection with nature and notice feelings of relaxation, momentary relief from stress, and inner capacity for resilience.

Facilitators Jacqueline Cleland, PsyD, and Margie Lang-Garnhart, LCSW, utilize principles of Nature Informed Therapy, mindful mediative practice and evidenced-based techniques for stress reduction. Participants will leave with insights and ideas for how to bring these practices into our daily lives.
