Event Description
Rest is radical.
Join Mississippi for a Just World (MSJW) for Mindful Mile, a peaceful community walk designed to create space for care, reflection, intentional conversation, and collective well-being.
In honor of Mental Health Awareness Month, this gathering invites community members to slow down, move together, and connect across perspectives. For MSJW, care is not separate from justice work. It is part of how we sustain our movements, strengthen relationships, and build the world we are fighting for.
Through shared movement and guided conversation, participants will have the opportunity to reflect, connect with others, and make space for restoration in community.
This event is open to anyone who wants to join us for a calm, welcoming morning walk. No prior experience is needed, and participants are encouraged to walk at their own pace.
