Mindful by Nature: The Inner Work of Being Outdoors
About this Event
Join us for an inspired offering of story, reflection, and connection as authors and environmental educators Tim Drake and Jason Hamilton share insights from their book Mindful by Nature: The Inner Work of Being Outdoors which explores the relationship between nature and mindfulness. Blending storytelling, guided meditation, poetry, and readings, participants are invited to slow down, tune in, and rediscover the connection between the natural world and the “nature within.” We hope participants will feel a deeper awareness of the present moment and a renewed sense of belonging in the living world. We'll conclude with a short Q&A and an opportunity to purchase books and have them signed.
This interactive offering will be held both indoors and outdoors, so please come prepared for variable weather.
