Mind Your Biz is a FREE four-week creative entrepreneurship series presented by CAP Cares Foundation in partnership with Handmade U.
This hands-on program is designed for creatives, makers, artists, crafters, designers, and aspiring entrepreneurs who are ready to move from simply creating to building a business around what they make.
Over four weeks, participants will learn how to:
- Identify their ideal customer
- Understand the true cost of making their product
- Source materials and develop their product
- Price for profit
- Build and market their brand
- Prepare to present, promote, and confidently sell their products
Special program benefit: Participants who attend and complete all four sessions will be eligible for a discounted vendor rate at the Small Business Saturday Vendor Marketplace, giving them an opportunity to put what they learned into practice and showcase their products.
