A 24 hour 300-mile ultra bike challenge, dedicated to raising awareness and funds for brain cancer research and support. The Epic journey begins at Bayside Clam Bar & Grill at the East Islip Marina.
* Ride solo, 24 hours, a 3 x 100 relay, make the journey over two twelve hour days (150 miles x 2) or ride virtual! Bike riders and their support vehicles must register and and raise funds for the cause. For more information please reach out via email or visit our website www.MindOverMiles300.org. Course overview
Leg#1 The Leg Loosener first 100 Miles.
Starting at East Islip Marina, a scenic tour through East Islip, passing through the heart of Northport, Smithtown, Stony Brook and Port Jefferson as you wind you way east along the beautiful North Shore to Mattituck.
Leg#2 Twin Fork Challenge - 200 Miles.
Elevate your journey along the rolling hills of the North and South Shores, featuring challenging elevation and panoramic views as you travel to the south fork into Montauk.
Leg #3 Ocean-Bay Trail Last leg - 300 Miles.
A mostly flat, scenic stretch from Montauk along the Atlantic Ocean to the Great South Bay. A beautiful ride along the south shore with the ocean breeze. Connect with the community at the finish in East Islip .
