About this Event
Mind Matters: A Townhall on Youth and Mental Health
Join us for an engaging, in-person townhall all about mental health and the challenges young people face today. It's a relaxed space to share stories, ask questions, and connect with others who care about breaking the stigma surrounding mental wellness.
Panelists include:
Joseph VanZandt: Co-Lead Counsel in the largest centralized litigation against social media giants Meta, Snap, TikTok, and YouTube in Los Angeles, California.
Dr. Ana Radovic: Pediatrician, Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh
Erin Barr: Director of Youth Services at Jewish Family and Children Services; UpStreet Director
James Brown: Director of Education and the Frick Environmental Center
Sy: Youth associated with Hugh Lane Wellness Foundation
Reported by WESA Health & Science Reporter Kiley Koscinski and edited by Glynis Board, Mind Matters examines the mental health challenges facing individuals and families across Western Pennsylvania — and a guide to the resources, experts, and solutions that can help.
The series is made possible through a generous grant from the Staunton Farm Foundation and is presented by Aetna Better Health® Kids, A CHIP Health Plan.
