Mind Magic: An Evening of Hypnosis Hosted by Jeffrey Powers

Come to the party in your own head! It's the Hypno Party! Hypno-magician Jeffrey Powers combines magic, mentalism and comedy hypnosis in a unique, interactive entertainment, where select audience members will be the "stars" of the show. You will believe...you are having fun! Appropriate for pre-teens and above.

Jeffrey Powers is the hypnotic stage name of Jeffery Lyle Segal. As a youth growing up in Highland Park, he was the area's most popular magic clown for many years. At age fifteen, he became the youngest ever balloon animal artist at the then-famous Pickel Barrel Restaurant. He went on to become a stage actor in high school and college. After graduating from Northwestern University, he proudly served as the first Executive Director of Steppenwolf Theatre Company when they were resident in Highland Park. He spent most of his career using his graphic talents as a makeup artist, doing both special effects makeup in film and permanent cosmetics with medical spas, which he continues to do to this day. Now that he has added hypnosis to his long list of talents, he travels the country doing entertainment hypnosis for schools, corporate functions, and private events.
