Runners, Friends, 856ers! Come on out for the one you've been waiting for! Mimosa Run VIII! If you were here in previous years, you KNOW how we do this thing. It is a massive and amazing run-drink-party. The Drank Plank will be returning as will the amazing music, dance, and general debauchery associated with this now 8th in a lifetime event. Also this year? The inaugural Donut Mile and Mimosa Mile, on the track. We also will be fundraising for Cathedral Kitchen, the largest emergency meal provider in Camden County. Stay tuned on these for more information in the coming days and weeks.Though the event is based on mimosas, we ask that everyone bring your favorite cocktail, snack, hot beverage, hot food, wine bottle, cold barley stew, bagged snack or circular-shaped Looper-approved pastry.
Run details: One loop is approximately 3.67 miles around but you can do more, or less, or exactly one loop. Did we mention mimosas? See you here.
Please tag your running friends and extend the invite to other members of Run856 and the running community in general who may not see this. We expect hundreds of you. Literally hundreds. All paces represented, all runners are welcome, human, canine and feline.
Non-running volunteers needed and encouraged to help of course to "watch the booze while we run". Since there is a playground, please bring your littles.
