Equipped with a UV torch and surrounded by biofluorescent insects ready to be found, you'll be led around a set area but with the freedom to explore it how you choose. (UV torch provided).

CONNECT

Use the UV torch to see insects and their habitat in a new light. Discover the rarely seen biofluorescence emitted by nature, a natural reaction to the UV light that makes these organisms glow!

WONDER

Led by natural history photographer & artist James Wylie, you'll get an insight into why these insects glow. We'll also discuss ideas around what biofluorescence tells us about the hidden reality that insects live in.

Where?

Milton Common along Moorings Way. Meet at the second public foodpath along Moorings Way (what3words: ///heave.spring.scan)

If driving, there should be parking along Moorings Way and neighbouring roads.

If taking public transport, take the Stagecoach 13 bus to Schooner Way. This is the closest stop to the meeting place along Moorings Way.

When?
