👉 At 2pm, Goldie & Dan (Arg.) will take our Beginners through Ocho Backwards, exploring this essential tango movement with an emphasis on flow, awareness and smooth transitions.
👉 Then at 3pm, things get seriously exciting with MILONGA TRASPIÉ! Fast, playful, cheeky and irresistibly rhythmic, traspié is where milonga really comes alive. Instead of simply stepping on the regular beat, dancers play with double-time movements, rapid weight changes and the rhythmic possibilities between the beats — creating that distinctive feeling of dancing with the music rather than merely to it.
Goldie & Dan will help you discover how to use these rhythmic changes without rushing, keeping the embrace connected and turning the speed and syncopation of milonga into something playful, musical and exhilarating.
🎉🎵 And from 4.30pm, the party begins! We are delighted to welcome a very special guest behind the decks: Adrián Osuna, straight from Argentina. Known for creating elegant, musical tandas that respect the great traditions of the milonga while keeping the dance floor vibrant and alive, Adrián blends the richness of the Golden Age orchestras with carefully selected contemporary recordings. His focus is always on musicality, connection and, above all, the dancers’ experience.
