PLEASE NOTE: that event timings are as per the cover photo (whatever Facebook says!)As ever, we aim to bring you the warm and friendly atmosphere of a traditional neighbourhood milonga where we offer you:
👉 An inspiring selection of highly danceable traditional tango music, mainly from the Golden Age organised in tandas with cortinas (TTVTTM) provided by resident DJ Saretta
👉Tanda display (technology permitting)
👉 An attractive and spacious venue with plenty of seating and space for dancing.
👉 Complementary light refeshments (tea, coffee and fruit juice)
👉Free hot and cold buffet with gluten free and vegan options
available (likely to include empanadas, crostini, risotto parcels, bhajis, crudites + dips and whatever else I manage to rustle up
👉 Free entry into our raffle
Also useful to know:
💰Entry = £10 and we accept both cash and card payments.
💃🕺At our milonga, we encourage use of the mirada/cabaceo for initiating dances and ask that dancers demonstrate considerate floor craft by observing the etiquette of the ronda.
🍷We don't serve alcohol but your are welcome to BYOB and there are wine glasses available in the kitchen.
🚗The hall doesn't have a car park. However, it is easy to find parking spaces within a very short distance of the hall on St Andrew's Road and adjacent streets.
🚍For those that don't drive the hall is accessible by bus and a short walk. Service 218 is the quickest option from the train station and should get you to the hall in 15 minutes which includes a 5 minute walk. Head to stop SS1 on Paternoster Row (near the Showroom cinema)
👉Although there is plenty of seating, places at tables are limited. Therefore if you want to book a table place for yourself or a group you can do so by contacting me directly (scroll down for contact details)
☺️We are more than happy for other organizers to bring flyers and promote their events at our milonga, so long as you check first that they don't clash with any of our own events. We also have
announcements where we invite other organisers to plug their events. If you wish to be included in this just let me know.
☺️We offer reward cards and will issue 2 reward stamps per milonga. After you fill out your card can then get into your next milonga with us free

PLEASE NOTE: Attendance at our event is entirely at your own risk. Esquina Porteña Tango and its hosts accept no responsibility for anyone loss, damage, injury or illness of any kind as a result of attending our event.
👉 Please don't attend if you are suffering symptoms of covid or feel unwell.
👉We will have hand sanitiser available for you to use on entry to the venue and between dance partners and before helping yourself to food or refreshments
