ABOUT Inés Muzzopappa -
Inés Muzzopappa is a renowned Argentine tango dancer and instructor. She began dancing tango at age 14 and rose to prominence in 2007 by winning first place in the Tango World Championship in Buenos Aires. This victory launched her international career, allowing her to teach and perform at prestigious tango festivals across Argentina, Europe, Asia, and the United States. Muzzopappa has also served as a judge in various tango competitions and has studied pedagogical methods to enhance her teaching, incorporating educational elements into her tango classes. Beyond her technical skill, Muzzopappa is known for her role in the inclusive tango movement, where she teaches dancers to switch between leader and follower roles without adhering to traditional gender norms, a practice common in queer tango communities. This inclusive approach has made her a significant figure in the world of tango, promoting a dance experience that is open and accessible to everyone.
ABOUT DJ Rainer -
Argentine tango dancer, teacher, and tango Dj, trained in Buenos Aires, with 12 year experience teaching and performing. ex-teacher of the renowned Tango School and dance company awarded the "best tango school in the world" by "Premios Tango" in 2019 (Buenos Aires, Argentina) hroughout his career, Rainier has performed at some of the most important milongas in Buenos Aires, and completed several tours in europe and south america. Based in New York City since 2021, Rainier now shares his experience with the United States.
