WHY MILONGA BOOTCAMP
After more than 17 Years since hte first TangoBootCamp we are so excited to introduce our first Milonga BootCamp
It is born out of our deep love of Milonga Music and particularly the Rhythmic root and absolute joy it can bring.
It is also built on a sad truth that many people do not fully enjoy Milonga Rhythm or lack confidence when dancing it.
"A good milonga dancer is a good tango dancer, but not necessarily vice versa. "
"In milonga you can't lie" is a saying that I often heard from the milongueros. In tango it is possible to 'cheat' a little bit; to solve smalll misunderstandings in the connection within the couple. But in milonga that is not possible, because of the fast pace and the super precise steps. Just a very small difference in foot placement, timing, or turning direction, can cause quite a disconnection within the couple"

Of all Tango's Rhythm's, Milonga is the one many people struggle with and consequently tandas are high risk or avoided totally. This is a real shame because some of the most fun and best connection can come when dancing to Milonga Music.
WHO IS MILONGA BOOTCAMP FOR
-For those who already love Milonga Rhythm and want to get better and more creative
-For those experienced Tango Dancers who run scared or hide when the Milonga Tandas play!
-People who really love Tango Music and want a deep dive into the root of where it all started and a better understanding of how to dance more musically to Tango's original and most fun music.
WHAT IS MILONGA BOOTCAMP
We have deliberately designed this BootCamp to be fast paced, challenging but rewarding.
We will cover lots, learn lots and at the end have a stronger repertoirre, better musicality and understand how to connect better to our partner.
It is designed around progressive 3 Modules or blocks of teaching. The BootCamp is all 3 modules and these are not pick and choose workshops! Each progressive mocule ends with a 15 minute guided practica.
IT WILL INCLUDE 12 MILONGA PATTERNS, 2 STYLES (Lisa & Traspie), 3 SYNCOPATIONS, 3 ADORNOS, STUDY OF 6 VERY DIFFERENT CLASSIC MILONGAS, DEEP UNDERSTANDING OF THE ROOT OF THE MUSIC AND HOW TO BETTER INTERPRET IT.
