This morning, we announced Millfort Tactical Muster No. 001, taking place November 13–15 at Kings Mountain State Park.
At first glance, it may look like a weekend of camping, training, and fellowship.
Our vision is much bigger.
Somewhere along the way, many of us lost the kind of organizations that challenged us to learn new skills, spend time outdoors, serve our communities, and continue growing as leaders. Those opportunities shouldn’t end when we become adults.
That’s what we’re building.
Millfort Tactical is creating a community where people come together to embrace challenge, develop practical skills, serve others, and build lasting friendships.
Explore. Learn. Serve. Lead.
We’ll explore everything our region’s state and national parks have to offer. From mountain trails and backcountry campsites to historic battlefields, lakes, rivers, and forests, every Muster will be an opportunity to discover new places, develop new skills, and experience the outdoors alongside people who share a commitment to growth and adventure.
This won’t always be easy—and that’s the point.
We’ll hike. We’ll camp. We’ll learn. We’ll serve. We’ll push ourselves outside our comfort zones because that’s where growth happens.
Along the way, members will earn patches that represent what they’ve accomplished. They won’t be given for simply showing up. They’ll be earned through commitment, perseverance, skill, leadership, and service. Every patch will tell a story.
No experience is required. If you’ve never camped before, we’ll help you. All that’s required is a willingness to take the first step.
Muster No. 001 isn’t just our first event. It’s the beginning of a tradition.
