Deep inside the Milky Way Glowworm Cave lies the breathtaking Starburst Cathedral - the largest chamber of the cave system. Join us for an intimate cave concert experience. Surrounded by thousands of glowworms, delicate formations and incredible live acoustics, this magic underground will host for an unforgettable evening you won’t want to miss. This concert is a fundraiser for Ridge Ponini, who has recently been accepted into the prestigious National Opera Studio in London. A portion of every ticket sold will go towards supporting Ridge Ponini as he takes his next step in his journey.
To experience a voice like this inside the cave natural acoustics is something incredibly powerful.

Ridge Ponini - our main performer for the evening
Grace McCarthy Sinclair - opening for the first half and accompanying Ridge
Jelsha Eastes - a young local rising star opening the second half
A second rising star (to be announced) performing outside at the cave entrance as guests arrive
This is more than a concert - it’s a chance to support emerging talent while experiencing opera and classical musical in one of New Zealand’s most unique natural environments.
