Post 280, VFW Post 2894, the Hampton VA, and Chesapeake Integrated Behavioral Health are sponsoring a military and veterans community wellness day on September 27th from 0800-1400 at the Chesapeake Conference Center. Topics will include mental health/suicide awareness, basic budgeting, and a presentation from Department of Veteran Services on how to/where to find services. There will also be a number of veteran friendly vendors there that provide a number of services. This is a free event for veterans and lunch will be provided.
