HAPPY NEW YEAR!We're back for a full year of Milford Open Mics in 2025!
What's new this year?
1. Featured artists with "2-slot-spots" - This month we're featuring Kevin Boots, winner of our 2-slot Featured Artist raffle from last month).

3. Pre-open mic artist building workshops - We're coming up with new ways to provide growing opportunities for all. While we're setting up the open mic, we'll hold a 30 min. - 1 hour workshop for those interested. These workshops will be based around things to help our Milford Open Mic Artists Grow. Workshop topics may include things like songwriting, music production, effect implementation, stage presence, sounds system basics, artist social media, artist website creation, instrument quick lessons, social interaction and much more.
How do you win the giveaway?
- Sign up for our emailing list (only the first time you sign up)
- Get a ticket simply by eating and drinking - For every $25 spent, you can get a raffle ticket - We just check your bill and give you a ticket for every $25 increment you spend.
- By performing - A ticket will be given to each musician who performs.
Giveaways are done after the last performer. Winners must be present to win.

As a spectator, simply come out and watch a bunch of musicians playing 2 songs each, while you're enjoying items from an amazing menu. There is no cover.
As a performer, sign up a is electronic and ahead of time at www.milfordopenmic.com, so head on over and claim your time slot!
Young and old, seasoned, or on your way. You are all welcome. If you simply like acoustic music and want to listen and have some great food and drink, you're welcome too. It's your place to be. The notion is to create a community of like-minded folks who enjoy presenting and listening to live music... in Milford, CT
Bring your friends and family to hear you play, or simply come out and listen to all of the talent.
Provided equipment includes...
- Sound system
- 2 house microphones (must use house mics for quick transitions, disinfecting wipes will be available ;)
- 2 Guitar/keys input (please bing your own guitar/keys)
It's an "acoustic open mic", so electric guitar amps/keyboard amps/drum sets and the like will not be permitted. (we do have a house cajon for you to use)
Performing...
1. Performers will get the opportunity to play two songs, or for 10 minutes, which ever comes first.
2. Original music is encouraged, but you can add your flair to some covers, we don't mind ;)
Listening and enjoying...
1. The night is about music and the stage, please keep your talking down, and if you really want to have a conversation, please take it to another room. It's hard to get on stage for many people. In support for all artists who are giving us a special glimpse into their art form, we ask that there's no talking during performances. If a whisper needs to happen, no worries, but please give the artists your full attention. Unlike hearing a musician play in a restaurant, where they are the background ambiance to your evening, we've flipped it so that they are the focus.
2. Please share the love with the venue, and say thank you to them for giving us a great space to meet by purchasing their great food and drink during the night.
Help us pack the place out and purchase food and drink while at the event. This helps our 3 restaurant partner venues know that we are supporting them as they provide an amazing atmosphere and service to us!
