About this Event

Miles for Smiles is back again! The SMSS will be hosting our 23rd annual fundraising event on Saturday, September 19, 2026. Our walk/run will be held in Meewasin Park North with distance options of 2.5 km, 5 km, or 10 km. The events will begin at 8:30 am but we encourage participants to arrive at 8:00 am to sign in and check out our silent auction prizes!

NOTE: All tickets must be paid via e-transfer to [email protected] upon ticket reservation. Please include "Miles for Smiles 2026" and your name in the messages of your e-transfer.

COST:

2.5 km walk/run with a t-shirt: $37.00

2.5 km walk/run with NO t-shirt: $37.00

5 km walk/run with a t-shirt: $42.00

5 km walk/run with NO t-shirt: $42.00

10 km run with a t-shirt: $45.00

10 km run with NO t-shirt: $45.00

This event is open to people of all abilities! Friends, family, and pets are welcome as well.

All proceeds will go towards the Alzheimer Society of Saskatchewan. This is an organization working in dementia care and research. They offer crucial services to individuals and families affected by Alzheimer's Disease through services and programs, empowerment, education, and advocacy. The Alzheimer Society supported over 3400 clients in over 385 communities in 2025-26, with over 5000 hours of direct service to clients. Over 65% of the funding comes directly from donors which allows support for individuals and families affected by dementia. Through a community-based approach, the Alzheimer Society offers Help for Today and Hope for Tomorrow.
