Miles for Minnesota – Fun Run Festival
Part of the 2026 Minnesota Brewery Running Series Season & the Viking Lakes Summer Beer Bash
Walk, jog, or run as many laps as you'd like. Every mile counts.
Celebrate summer with a one-of-a-kind Fun Run Festival at Viking Lakes, home of the Minnesota Vikings Training Facility. Held alongside the Viking Lakes Summer Beer Bash, the day features 14 Minnesota craft breweries, live music, games, food, door prize giveaways, and a community mileage challenge helping protect the Boundary Waters.
Help us answer one simple question:
How many miles can Minnesota log in one day?
Whether you complete one mile or twenty, every lap contributes to our community mileage total.
🏃 How It Works
• Check-in opens at 10:00 AM
• Walk, jog, or run as many laps as you'd like around the Viking Lakes loop
• Track your miles with Strava, Garmin, Apple Watch, or your favorite GPS app
• Check back in at the Brewery Running Series tent to report your final mileage
• Enjoy the festival throughout the day!
No timing chips. No pressure. Just a great day to get outside, move your body, and be part of something bigger.
🏆 Run Club Challenge
Calling all run clubs!
The run club that logs the most total miles throughout the day will win $500 and earn the title of Miles for Minnesota Champions.
Bring your teammates, invite your friends, and see how many miles your crew can contribute.

Participation in the Miles for Minnesota Fun Run Festival is FREE.
In the spirit of the Brewery Running Series mission, participants are encouraged to pledge a donation for every mile completed. All pledge donations benefit Save the Boundary Waters and its mission to protect one of Minnesota's greatest natural treasures.

The Summer Beer Bash festival grounds are open to the public, making this a great day for runners, walkers, families, friends, and designated drivers.
