Join us on Saturday, September 12th, 2026, at 8:00 AM for Miles for Melissa, a community 5K held in memory of Melissa.
Whether you choose to run, walk, or jog, this event isn't about how fast you finish—it's about coming together to honor Melissa's life while supporting her daughter, Carlie.
Melissa's passing was sudden and unexpected. As a nursing student, Carlie is now facing not only the unimaginable loss of her mom, but also funeral expenses and financial responsibilities she never expected to carry so soon. Every dollar raised will go directly to Carlie to help ease some of that burden.
Registration
$25 – In-person participant
$20 – Virtual participant (complete your 5K anywhere and upload a screenshot of your finish time to this event page)
Register anytime—even the morning of the event.
Payment methods: Cash, check, or Venmo.

There will be no official timing, awards, or prizes. This is simply an opportunity to honor Melissa, support Carlie, and remind her that she isn't facing this journey alone.

You do not need to participate in the 5K to contribute. Any donations are welcome and deeply appreciated, whether or not you are able to walk or run. Every amount goes directly to supporting Carlie during this incredibly difficult time.
