Goolwa Centenary Hall | Victor Harbor, SA
Fifty-five years after taking the stage at Myponga ’71, legendary Australian songwriter Mike Rudd returns to the Fleurieu Peninsula for an intimate, once-in-a-lifetime performance at Goolwa Centenary Hall.
And he’s not coming alone.
Joining him is his long-time musical collaborator and one of Australia’s most revered guitarists, Tim Gaze – the powerhouse behind Tamam Shud, Morning of the Earth and Kahvas Jute. This is a pairing rarely seen on the same bill… and it’s happening right here.
🎶 MIKE RUDD – Australian music icon
From fronting Spectrum to delivering the timeless, era-defining #1 hit ‘I’ll Be Gone’, Mike’s influence is woven into the fabric of Australian rock. His later chapters – Indelible Murtceps and Ariel – delivered cult classics like Jamaican Farewell and the brilliantly outrageous deep cuts too wild for radio, including tracks from Warts Up Your Nose and Ariel’s A Strange Fantastic Dream (famously banned on release).
These solo shows with George Butrumlis are where Mike digs deep, performing the songs you almost never hear live.
🎸 TIM GAZE – a guitarist’s guitarist
From the psychedelic surf sound of Morning of the Earth to the explosive power of Kahvas Jute, Tim Gaze has carved a legacy as one of Australia’s finest, most innovative players. His opening set will be a rare journey through a lifetime of groundbreaking music.
✨ This is not just a concert. It’s a historic reunion, a masterclass, and a celebration of two of Australia’s most important musical storytellers.
This show will sell out. Don’t wait.
