Step into the heart of community-based maternity care with our comprehensive Midwife Assistant Training designed specifically for the homebirth environment. This training provides aspiring and experienced birth workers with the skills, confidence, and practical understanding needed to support midwives and families during the process of out-of-hospital birth.Participants will learn the foundations of safe and effective birth support—emphasizing hands-on clinical skills, respectful presence, and continuity of care. Training includes instruction in prenatal support, birth preparation, labor and postpartum assistance, charting and documentation, equipment setup and breakdown, emergency readiness, and the art of holding space for birthing families.
Rooted in evidence-informed practice and the traditions of midwifery, this training prepares assistants to move with calm, competence, and intuition in the homebirth setting. Whether you are beginning your journey in birth work or deepening your existing skills, this training offers a grounded pathway toward serving families with compassion, clarity, and skill.
