Western Swing is a musical genre born in the south of the United States when Country musicians got exposed to the Jazz repertoire. That style was developed from the small countryside fairs to the big cities ballrooms and all the way to Hollywood between the 1930s and 1940s.
The energetic swing of jazz, country vocal harmonies, horn, strings - all wrapped up in a class-act 1940s package, fresh out of the time machine - make the sound of native french americophile Benny Lee's band the Country Syncopators.
Benny Lee and his Country Syncopators offer an authentic sounding and looking, pre-Rock’n’Roll, Country-fried Jazz act experience perfect for dancing or listening (but doing both comes highly recommended!)
