North Chicago’s Midwest Veterans Closet in partnership with Northern Illinois Food Bank, is hosting a Spring Grocery Stock Up event for veterans on Friday, March 20, 2026, from Noon to 1:30 p.m. at Midwest Veterans Closet 1720 Green Bay Road. To participate in this grocery stock up event, you MUST have military, veteran, or dependent identification.This is a “drive-up and go” event. Volunteers will load your vehicle for you. Northern Illinois Food Bank’s Mobile Pantry is free to neighbors in need. Food is distributed on a first-come, first-served basis-while supplies last.
If you do not have enough to eat, Northern Illinois Food Bank’s Mobile Pantry can help.
