Midwest Sapphic Society x Campit: Sweat-HER Weather Weekend

Calling all flannel enthusiasts, hammock nappers, campfire yappers, and anyone who’s ever said, “I could totally survive in the woods… as long as there’s a shower.” 😌

Whether you’re an experienced camper or just looking for a fun weekend getaway with other sapphics, this is the perfect opportunity to unplug, make new friends, and enjoy everything Campit has to offer. Expect campfires, laughs, outdoor activities, and a welcoming space to connect with women from across the Midwest.

We’ve reserved the New Horseshoe Group Camping Area exclusively for our group, with space for up to 96 Midwest Sapphic Society campers. You’ll be able to set up your tent anywhere within our reserved section, and a limited number of electric tent sites (4 total) are also available for an additional fee.

A few things to know 👇

🌲 This is an 18+ campground—no kids allowed!

🌈 Campit is open to all queer adults, so men will be present on the property. We simply have our own reserved section where our community can camp together while still enjoying everything Campit has to offer.

🚿 If you’re not exactly the “embrace the dirt” type, don’t worry. Campit is known for being clean, safe, and welcoming, with hot showers and well-maintained facilities to keep everyone happy.

🍷 And if you need a break from the great outdoors (or just want to continue being outdoors with a beverage in hand), you’re in the heart of Southwest Michigan—surrounded by wineries, cideries, breweries, beautiful Lake Michigan beaches, and plenty of great local restaurants. It’s basically the perfect excuse to make a whole weekend of it.

Unfortunately we have to do this the old fashioned way since we have a group-booking & our section is blocked off online. To book in our section, call Campit Reservations directly at 269-543-4300 and use the booking code “Sapphic.” You can reserve individually or have one person book for your group.

💸 Camping Rates

Thursday & Sunday Rustic Camping: $12/person/night

Friday & Saturday Rustic Camping: $19/person/night

Electric Site Add-On: $10/site/night

Campit Membership (required): $15/person (includes this event and all of 2027!)
