Event Overview
Midwest Powerwheels is excited to be part of Wide Open Wisconsin, bringing organized Powerwheels drag racing to a weekend filled with motorsports, powersports entertainment, vendors, demonstrations, and family activities.
The goal is to provide our racers and families with a professional, organized racing experience while introducing Midwest Powerwheels to a larger powersports audience.
Admission & Racer Registration
Will still ask to please register on Google Docs so we can get the list of racers (that will be up later today)
• Midwest Powerwheels race registration is FREE.
• Wide Open Wisconsin will cover the registration fees for all participating Midwest Powerwheels racers.
• Parents and legal guardians of participating children will receive FREE admission to the full Wide Open Wisconsin event.
• Spectators attending without a registered Midwest Powerwheels racer will pay $10 admission at the front gate.
• Racer check-in and tech will take place before racing begins.

Racing Begins
11AM
The overall completion time will depend on the number of registered racers and vehicles participating in each class.

Race Format
Each class will compete in three separate heats.
Heat 1
• Each racer receives 2 timed runs.
Heat 2
• Each racer receives 2 timed runs.
Heat 3
• Each racer receives 2 timed runs.
This provides each racer with up to 6 timed runs throughout the competition.
Determining the Winners
After completion of Heat 3:
1. All recorded race times will be reviewed.
2. Times will be organized by class.
3. The three fastest competitors in each class will be identified.
4. The fastest overall time will receive 1st Place.
5. The second-fastest time will receive 2nd Place.
6. The third-fastest time will receive 3rd Place.
Awards
Trophy presentations will take place immediately following the completion and scoring of Heat 3.
Trophies will be awarded to the Top 3 racers in each Midwest Powerwheels class.

Wide Open Wisconsin Activities
Midwest Powerwheels racing will be one part of a much larger powersports weekend. Wide Open Wisconsin is expected to feature a wide variety of racing, demonstrations, entertainment, and attractions, including:
• MX Freestyle Shows
• Snowmobile Grass Drags
• Mini-Rod Pulls
• Pit Bike Racing
• Professional Motorcycle Stunt Shows
• Jet Ski Freestyle
• Snowmobile Water Skipping
• MotoTrials Demonstrations
• RC Truck Demonstrations
• Live Music
• Vintage Snowmobile Show
• Large Powersports Swap Meet
• 110+ powersports vendors
Vendors are expected to offer a wide selection of parts, gear, accessories, apparel, machines, equipment, and other powersports products.

Important Information for Racers & Families
• Arrive early enough to unload and have your vehicle ready before check-in closes at 10:45 AM.
• All vehicles must be entered into the appropriate racing class.
• Vehicles must meet Midwest Powerwheels safety and class requirements. (On Facebook or ask to see)
• Racers should be prepared when their class is called to staging.
• Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising their children throughout the event.
• Race times will be recorded and used to determine the final Top 3 in each class.
• The length of the racing program will depend on racer turnout.
• Awards will be presented after the final heat and scoring are completed.
