5 days of social rides showing off Denver bike culture and meeting riders from across the country. Join us for the first year of the Midwest Invasion – 5 days of social rides showing off Denver BIKE LIFE culture. It started as an invitation to a few Detroit riders but turned into an invasion of riders from across the country.
We’ll have organized bike rides leaving from the host hotel each day, swag bags for sale with the chance to win bigger prizes. All riders and all bikes are welcome.
The party kicks off on Wednesday as we join the weekly Wednesday night rides throughout the city– a ride with no name and no official organizer that still manages to be one of the biggest in town.
Thursday we roll with the Denver Cruisers – Denver’s original party ride and still the most famous. This ride can easily attract 500-1000 riders in it’s new “smaller” format.
Friday – Black Arts festival culture ride through the city of Denver viewing different artists throughout the city while the festival is going on.
Saturday we coast down clear creek trail: the Light Rail will drop riders off in Golden for a 20 mile slightly downhill cruise back into Denver. Also for any stretch, E bikes or electric trikes, I will have a moving box truck on site to transport them to the end of the light rail train ride that we will take to Golden.
Sunday – Jazz in the Park ride out at 3pm
