Come join us at Boston Tea Room for drop-in Midweek Meditation sessions, every Wednesday at 6:00 pm! Enjoy the ambiance of our relaxing meditation room and the restorative powers of meditation. We also host monthly sound bath meditations twice a month, and quarterly meditation retreats. Please see our events page for details.We are a group of local folks of all ages, backgrounds and traditions. All are welcome, whether you are a beginner or advanced practitioner. This is a non-religious, non-sectarian group that is purely interested in creating a safe and welcoming space where meditators from all backgrounds and experience levels can gather for the purpose of benefiting ourselves, each other, and the community as a whole.
We are located at 1220 Woodward Heights in Ferndale, MI 48220. Our parking lot and entrance are located in the back of the building.
Drop-in meditation sessions run about 30-45 minutes. Please arrive at least 10 minutes early to find a spot and get settled in.
🌟Please note: our meditation sessions have become very popular and we have a limited number of spots available. Please arrive a little early to ensure a spot before the room is at capacity.
Dress comfortably. Chairs, meditation cushions, and blankets are available, but you are welcome to bring your own if you prefer. Each session is led by a volunteer facilitator.
This event is donation based. The suggested donation is $10.
