What to Expect

Root & Craft welcomes you into a relaxed, hands-on experience of creating and connecting. In this guided workshop, you’ll learn the foundations of working with polymer clay while crafting your own pair of minimalist earrings—from start to finish.

Come with friends, a partner, or on your own—this space is open to all.

During your time with us, you’ll:

• Choose from a curated palette of polymer clay colours
• Learn essential techniques including conditioning, shaping, texturing, sanding, curing, and assembling
• Work with thoughtfully selected, high-quality tools and materials
• Settle into a moment that’s yours—whether that looks like gentle breathwork, light stretching, quiet connection, or simply enjoying a warm cup of tea or coffee

You’ll leave with a finished piece to wear or gift, and that subtle, steady energy that comes from creating something with your own hands.

No prior experience is needed—this workshop is designed for both beginners and curious makers alike.

Each detail is intentionally considered — so you can simply arrive, settle in, and create.

A few things to note:

• Designs and colours may vary slightly from images shown
• The clay used in this workshop is vegan
• Earring findings include 14kt gold-plated, silver/silver-plated, and stainless steel options
• Solid gold and sterling silver upgrades are available upon request (please email in advance at [email protected])
• Free & paid street parking is available around the studio, there's dedicated EVO parking across the street, and secure bike parking is available in our gated parking lot.
• Photos and video may be captured during the workshop—if you’d prefer not to be included, just let us know when you arrive

Info: Pick your favourite colour and enjoy a hands-on guided tutorial on how to condition, shape and texture the clay.

Info: While our beautiful creations are curing, we'll take this opportunity to check in with ourselves and do what feels good - whether that's focused breath work, light stretching, enjoying a cup of tea, or connecting with others.

Info: We'll finish our pieces with light sanding, inspection for dust/finger prints, and assembling. We're so looking forward to witnessing your masterpieces come to life!
