Midsummer Ritual

At Midsummer, the world is now if full bloom. The early harvest of the year are starting to be brought into the larder, the animals are fattening up, the streams are flowing smoothly, the fields are growing, and all seems light and warm. As is traditional for Stone Creed Grove, we will celebrate this rite in the Norse cultural traditions, with a focus on agricultural efforts to bring food into the world.
Arrive at 3 for socializing and possibly teaching and learning about the Norse pantheon and cosmology. Ritual will be explained at 4 PM, and start by 5 PM.
If you are a gardener, we welcome gifts of the first fruits of your garden to encourage further growth and prosperity! Flowers are welcome as well!
As usual, a potluck will be held following the ritual for feasting and fellowship. A grill is available on-site, and we appreciate all contributions of food, drink, and fellowship as folk are able to provide it for the community.
