This casual walk is for anyone wanting to learn more about nutritious weeds, folklore around herbs and herbal medicine - and learn the basics of making an herbal tea. All ages welcome :)

Meet at Ulvenveien 104 (Menighetshuset by Østre Aker Church)
Participants can enjoy a cup of herbal tea and will take home a bag of wild-herbal-tea, of their own design.
We will discuss
1) sustainable harvest techniques
2) what time of the year to harvest parts of the plants (leaves, roots, etc)
3) How to use herbs safely - and the important difference between nutritive, tonic, sedating and stimulating herbs (and those that are potentially poisonous)
