Midsummer Festival 2026

Held in June around the summer solstice, the longest day of the year, it is a celebration of the ushering in of light, after the long dark winters and is a cherished tradition in Scandinavia. This holiday is considered the second most-important holiday of the year after Christmas. Come celebrate Midsummer with us in the Scandinavian Heritage Park in Minot, North Dakota!
This year’s event will include music, vendors, demonstrations, workshops, food, fun kids’ activities, and everybody’s favorite event: the lighting of the bonfire on BOTH Friday and Saturday night (weather permitting)! The sauna may also be open!
