Midnight Mosaic: The Sounds of Shorter, Henderson & More

Join us on Friday, September 5th from 11PM–1AM at Rudy’s Jazz Room for a deep and intimate night of quartet jazz. Trumpeter Nigel Cathey leads a powerhouse ensemble through original music from his upcoming EP, paired with bold reinterpretations of works by Joe Henderson, Wayne Shorter, Richard Rodgers, and Ellis Marsalis. Expect high-level interplay, rich harmonic landscapes, and storytelling through sound—all grounded in post-bop tradition with modern flair.

Please try to arrive 15 minutes prior to the show start time. If you do not arrive within 45 minutes after the show start time on your ticket your seat may be resold to other patrons at the door. If you arrive after 45 minutes from the start time of the show and your ticket has been resold, although we cannot guarantee it, we will try our best to make space for you to attend the show.
