Midnight Honey & Soul is an immersive evening of music, poetry, and dance that explores the beauty, struggle, passion, and resilience woven throughout the African American experience. Through soulful melodies of the past, famous spoken word, and expressive movement, audiences are invited on a journey through the music and art that displays our love, heartbreak, joy, community, and evolution. 

Featuring performers from Theater Albany's  production of The Color Purple and Performing Artists, this production honors the voices that have shaped our past while celebrating the spirit that continues to inspire future generations. From front porches and juke joints to Sunday mornings and summer nights, Midnight Honey & Soul captures the rhythm of our stories and the sweetness of our existence.
