A practical, chair-based session exploring how self-regulation and flow state improve focus, clarity and sustainable performance at work.
About this Event

This session, From Regulation to Flow: Improving Focus, Safety and Performance at Work, is designed for organisations seeking practical, preventative approaches to workplace wellbeing that enhance focus, decision-making and sustainable performance.

Join us from 1:00pm for light refreshments and networking.

Delegates will explore how self-regulation supports access to flow state, a mental and physiological state associated with clarity, creativity, resilience and effective performance, and why this is critical in high-pressure work environments.

Rather than focusing on fixing problems, the session emphasises optimisation: helping individuals learn how to return to a steady, focused state quickly, so they can perform at their best and respond more effectively to workplace demands.

Drawing on the speaker’s professional background in workplace wellbeing, yoga and breathwork, alongside lived experience, the session demonstrates how simple, accessible practices can be integrated into the working day to support focus, energy management and mental clarity.

Attendees will gain:

  • An understanding of how self-regulation underpins focus, performance and safe decision-making
  • Insight into flow state and how individuals and teams can access it consistently
  • Practical, chair-based techniques to support clarity, energy and attention at work
  • Tools that can be used before meetings, during high-demand periods and when focus begins to decline
  • Awareness of foundational wellbeing factors that support sustainable performance

The session includes brief, optional experiential elements (such as guided breathing and visualisation) to demonstrate how quickly state can shift, even in professional and high-pressure environments.

This approach supports organisations to move beyond reactive wellbeing measures and towards proactive strategies that enable people to operate with greater clarity, confidence and effectiveness at work.

Your presenter, Leomi Potter, is a Workplace Wellbeing Consultant and Flow State & Self-Regulation Specialist. Leomi works with organisations and teams to support focus, clarity and sustainable performance in high-pressure environments. Her work centres on helping individuals access flow state through practical, accessible self-regulation techniques that can be integrated into the working day.
