Middleton Hall is a Grade II listed building dating back to medieval times It is set in 42 acres of the peaceful North Warwickshire countryside.
It has a long history spanning over a millennium. The first written record of Middleton is in the Domesday Book of 1086, and elements of the hall date back to the 13th Century.
The Freville family held the Manor of Middleton until 1418, when it was transferred to the Willoughbys by marrying the heiress Margaret de Freville to Sir Hugh Willoughby.
The Willoughbys already had extensive estates in Nottinghamshire and elsewhere, their principal seat being Wollaton Hall, Nottingham.
